And there it is, the final result. All rakes neatly attached to the wall and off the floor so I’ll be able to sweep it easily. The ladder hangs along the hand rail and there’s a mat to wipe dirty feet on before entering the hobby room in the basement.

That green color will hopefully be gone soon. It’s not too bad down here but on other parts of the plinth of the house it’s peeling and looks dingy. I’ll be switching to grey and then this space will hopefully look pretty as well as practical.
