Toll Lanes Coming to the 10 and 110 Freeways. Will You Pay to Play?

It's time to squeeze every inch of space possible on our already congested highways to use them to their maximum potential. Of the 110 and 10 freeways, the plan of attack is called the project ExpressLane, and when it is launched later than expected, it will have its groundbreaking in Gardena today, paving the way for toll lanes about 25 miles from the highway.

Current vehicle carpool or high occupancy (HOV), covering 14 miles on I-10 between Alameda Street and 605, and 11 miles on I-110 between Adams Boulevard and Artesia Transit Center, will be transformed into high Without occupation, (HOT) lanes.
