The Earthway 2150 lawn spreader is designed to make your life easier. It is easy to operate, spreads evenly, durably made, and very highly regarded. Here are some additional tips and reminders when using the Earthway 2150.
1. This spreader is designed to be pushed at 3 miles per hour. Pushing your spreader at a slower or faster speed will change the spread pattern of the fertilizer or seed that you are spreading. Use this knowledge as you do your spreading to achieve the spreading result that you want.
2. Trick of the trade: Do not overfill your spreader’s hopper. A better approach is to only fill the hopper up to within one inch of the rim of the hopper, and then refill again to that level when your hopper empties as you conduct your spreading. The reasons: less wasted fertilizer or seed, and a lighter load in your spreader to push around.
