Consider the big picture when trimming bushes
09.07.11
Soaking up the morning sun, the spirea bushes showed off their
bright purple blooms and deep green leaves Wednesday morning.
They were safe. But other bushes at HuHot Mongolian Grill were
likely to face the pruning shears as Lance Britton's Sharp Lawn
Care crew got to work on the restaurant's landscape.
The spireas provided a good example of what homeowners ready for
that summer job of hedge trimming should keep in mind, Britton
said.
First, don't prune the hedge if it's blooming. Second, the
spireas at the HuHot property are now showing the results of
massive pruning to rein them in after they were allowed to grow out
of control.
