SUN VALLEY — Bliss artist Debra Lynn Featherston has become
known as “the brush lady,” but don’t confuse her with the Fuller
Brush Man.
Featherston crafts handmade brushes of deer, moose and elk hair,
encased in decorated ceramic holders and ranging from 2 inches to
32 inches long.
“I needed brushes and didn’t have access to them, so I started
making my own,” Featherston said. “I can’t believe some of the uses
people have for them. I’ve sold them as artist brushes, ceramic
brushes, makeup brushes, body massage brushes, pastry brushes, as
